All You Need To Know About Tupac's Biopic - All Eyez On Me

All Eyez On Me is a forthcoming American film that is a biographical drama about Tupac Shakur, the hip-hop artist. The movie is written by Steven Bagatourian, Eddie Gonzalez and Jeremy Haft and is directed by Benny Boom. The film was titled post the 4th studio album of Tupac. The main star cast of the movie is Demetrius Shipp Junior as Tupac Shakur and the co-stars are Danai Guria, Hill Harper, Lauren Cohan and Kat Graham. The release date of the movie is 16th June, '17 in US, which is apparently the 46th birthday of Shakur.

The film is a biopic, where the events of the life of Tupac Shakur is showcased i.e how he gained stardom, what lead him to become imprisoned and his times at Death Row Records. The first teaser trailer was released on his 45th birthday, i.e 16th June 2016. The second trailer was released on 13th Sept, '16 which was the 20th death anniversary of the hip hop artist. Also the announcement of the movie release date was done on the same day. On 10th Feb, '17, the third trailer was released along with the confirmation that the distributors and the producers of the film are Codeblack films, Program Pictures, Morgan Creek and Summit. On 6th April, '17 the fourth trailer was released. The main photography of the film started in the mid of December in 2015 and it was successfully accomplished on 12th April, '16 in Las Vegas.

The story, All Eyez on ME, is about the untold and true events of the life of the amazing actor cum rapper cum poet cum activist, Tupac Shakur. The film starts where initially his early days in NY City in East Harlem is shown and then how he evolves into world famous and influential voice, is showcased. Unfortunately he died at the mere age of 25, but even then, his raw talent, his immensely touching and powerful lyrics and the revolutionizing mind set pushed him to become a cultural icon. As a matter of fact, even though he is no more today, but his legacy still continues.
Initially the name of the film was decided as Tupac. During the early days of Dec, '15, it was changed to All Eyez on Me.

• Johnell Young played the role of close friend of Tupac, Ray Luv. 
• Annie Ilonzeh played the role of the fiancé, who was engaged to Tupac at the time of his death, Kidada Jones.

The movie has been filmed in 3 locations : Atlanta (in Georgia, US); Las Vegas (in Nevada, US) and Los Angeles (in California, US). The run-time of the movie is 139 minutes. It is quite an interesting movie that people are looking forward to as it unfolds the life of an icon and how he has a tragic end.
